Samsung Galaxy GT-I9000 running 2.2.

For me the music toggle is reversed in the menu where you have the choices:

Main Menu Save and Quit Pause

Music Off Verbose Off (more)

Tapping 'Music Off' turns it on, and vice versa.

Actually, the buttons are showing state. I should probably separate the state from the option with a colon to make it a bit more obvious though:

Music: Off

Music: On

I'll be doing away with the menu buttons eventually. I'm going to replace them with an options screen that is in-game.

Cool. While you are at it, I missed turning the verbose messages on, because I thought it was already on -- again you were showing state, and I expected a button labelled with what would happen if you pressed it. By the way, after you start the game but before you select a character you can bring up this screen, and if you navigate past more you can select 'Load Last Save' which silently does nothing. It should probably tell you to select a character first.
