Alright, I think with the 2.0.4 update the expansion bugs will be pretty much worked out. At least, the ones that have been reported to me.
The next updates will include various changes to weapons, spells, abilities, and equipment to make everything a bit more balanced. There will be new potions. There will be traps and trap kits. Also, there will be new damage types for weapons and artifact weapons.
I'll also be looking at how experience is handled in the game. The game has a soft cap which means there is no limit to how high a character can get beyond the time it takes to do it. I'd like for characters to be able to get up to level 80. Mainly, because creature types and items go up to level 80. Some of the creatures have really really really nasty abilities at that level.
I will also look into adding in new abilities to choose from at level up. I've seen some good ideas for new abilities here and there, and I'd like to include them in the game.
The game progression will stay as more of a hack and slash. Though, I will be adding branches to the main dungeon that will feature puzzle levels and challenges with an artifact item at the end.
Also, the 3d models and animations are getting close to being finished. Once I get them, I'll add them in as an optional download. |
