postheadericon Further Enhancements and The Sequel

Future Enhancements

It seems that I have added most of the features that have been requested since the release of Deadly Dungeons on Android.  For what it is, I think it is a good dungeon crawler.  Still, as time goes on, the capabilities of devices will continue to improve.

I will now start turning my focus on improving the visuals, atmosphere, and other fine details within the game.  Better death sequences, extended shop functionality, artifact system, and various challenge levels are also on the list.

The Sequel

As far as the sequel goes, I'm still planning it out.  It will take a great deal of planning, because my intention is to make one the best first person dungeon crawlers in existence.  I understand that this is an extremely difficult task given the titles that currently hold such a place in people's minds.  I just feel that I'm at the point where I can put such a thing in motion and actually succeed.

I certainly feel the pain that many fans of this genre have felt in the last 10 years.  Many of the mechanics that made these types of games great have disappeared or have been replaced with something that doesn't work quite as well.  It is my intention to pick up where some of the greatest of this genre left off and create a game that perfects the systems that already work well and on some fairly specific parts, pushes past the boundaries of what is currently known.

postheadericon Price Changes

Due to many urgings by fans, I have decided to raise prices for Deadly Dungeons.  Many have commented that they would be willing to pay way more for the game, and I am happy to oblige.  I have kept the game low for quite a long time just so more people can enjoy it, but now it is back to a place that matches its value.

Also, be aware that I am in the planning stages of Deadly Dungeons 2!

postheadericon Deadly Dungeons on OUYA

Deadly Dungeons has been released on OUYA.  For now the game is free, so enjoy the full version while you can.

I will now be switching back to the Android version and fixing a couple outstanding issues and adding some new features.  Players should start seeing new updates every couple weeks.

postheadericon Deadly Dungeons 8.5 out of 10

Deadly Dungeons Android RPG was recently reviewed by Green Robot Gamer Reviews.  The game was given 8.5 out of 10 which based on their review system is a "Great" game.  Always nice to see a new website dedicated to producing quality Android reviews.

postheadericon Mech Squad OUYA

I took a small break from Deadly Dungeons in order to compete in the OUYA CREATE Game Jam.  The game I created is called Mech Squad.  It is a game I hope to finish on OUYA and also bring to all Android and iOS devices.  Not sure if I will win overall, but I think the project has great potential.  I will be creating a website for that game, but I thought I would mention it here.
