For those that have trouble with the brightness of their screen, there are plenty of solutions.

Nearly all Android devices have brightness adjustment settings. Just go to Settings -> Display/Screen and adjust the brightness level. You can also download one of the many free brightness adjustment apps on Android Marketplace.

Brightness adjustment requires global settings permissions. Most customers prefer that a game does not have those permissions.

I hope this answer helps that person but I wonder if his real problem is that he doesn't like games set in caves. He won't be able to see 10 squares in all directions no matter what his brightness settings.
