I have played a few characters, and finished the game with a magic user.

Now trying the games with a melee. It extremely hard compared to a magic user, and at some point archer dont do enought damage, and healing is too long for non spell user.

 

Melee need alot of change to be a viable option later in the game, health regen need to be same rate has mana regen, and swords, axes skills, need to do more extra damage per point than 20%.(spell user do 50% per point and from a ranged attack) I think we could try at 40% per point for melee and 30% for bow.

Has a magic user a charge 4 +

Lightning Arc 4 almost everything in one shot except 2-3 for a boss.

My mage had 4 in mana regen, 4 in charge, 4 in miracle and the rest 1 or 2 in

Growth

Or having a skill similar to charge for melee and bow user, called focus strike, or Ki strike.

I just noticed we dont need a new skill we just need to reduce the mana cost.

Holy Strike

Extra attack with weapon that does an additional 50% damage per skill level. Drains player of all mana. Best used with 2h weapons and with builds that do not rely on mana.

 

Instead of all mana, it should cost 10-15% of all mana, or a set cost like 1 mana per player level. so it would cost 10 mana for a lv 10 player.

 

The current cost of mana of holy strike make it unusable, while a magic user can spam 8 X 50% damage increase non stop. (charge + spell)
