Maybe more of an annoyance than a bug.

When browsing among the trader's items it is quite easy to accidentally buy an item (tapping an item twice in succession).

Forcing the use of the "buy" button would be an ok solution.

Perhaps requiring the item be dragged all the way to the inventory to buy it would also work.

edit: the same applies to inventory browsing, but since the penalty for accidentally double-tapping an item there is quite low it's not an issue.

Unfortunately, there was a bug that saved all the dialog as already been displayed.  So, there isn't any dialog past the first area.  I will go ahead and send out another beta version this weekend.

I'll also add in scaling the dungeon level to the player's level for new games.  All of the creatures actually have different types and attacks up to level 80.

Ehm, I'm pretty sure that reply was not related to my subject? :)

Heh, that's where that post went. :D

I think an issue with the double tap is that a user really doesn't have to tap that quickly to do a double tap.  This makes it easy for them to accidentally double tap when scrolling through items.  I think I'll reduce the time between taps for a double tap to fire.

Another thing I could do is cancel a double tap if the player is currently scrolling through the item list.  I would just have to check if the velocity is under a certain threshold.

I think the velocity check would be the least invasive to the end-user...

Thanks
Chief
