It seems that the save files for characters with a space in their name are either corrupted or cannot be opened. Loading them just presents me with a black screen, but no error message or freeze. The music continues and the menu button works. If I try to start a new game with these characters, I instead get a character called "Jacob" who has no equipment and 20 of all stats.

P.S. It would also be nice if my character could somehow be salvaged after this is fixed.

P.P.S. I can do this myself if I can open and edit the save files properly, but I can't find any way to read them without getting lots of weird characters.

Yeah, I tested this out, and characters with spaces in them are not working.  It isn't that I didn't test this, but I tested it using something that gave me a false positive.  I made characters like "JACOB THE MAD" or "JACOB THE BASTARD", and it appeared to be working.  Unfortunately, it was using the default "JACOB" character that is generated at program start.

I will see what I can do to fix this issue.  If it is something with android not supporting spaces in filenames, then I would not be able to fix it so that it loads the corrupted files.  If the issue is just me not doing something right when handling files with spaces, then I can likely fix it so it will load the corrupted files.

I am uploading an update that fixes this issue. Your old save games should work too.
