I think that beginning characters should have some form of very slow hit point regeneration in the same way they have very slow mana regeneration.  And I think that hp regeneration should take into consideration your endurance in some way so that high endurance chars regenerate faster.

I'm going to give new characters some better starting equipment. Plenty of health potions should reduce the initial difficulty quite a bit.

Starting difficulty aside, a measure of health regeneration would greatly help making this game feel more approachable for Jew players, and characters alike. It wouldn't't greatly increase the overall balance of the game to one build over the other, and would even promote. Slower, methodical way of approaching the game... Especially in nitemare difficulty. I second this motion.
