This topic has been created for the sole purpose of creating a living document to help guide new and old players on some hidden pieces not covered by the guide. Anyone can contribute and I will probably edit the information they have derived into the OP for ease of use.

Endurance as a stat has diminishing returns the later you put points into it. A mage with all original 30 points put I.to endurance results in higher base HP than a warrior with 76 endurance spread out periodically. Front load endurance and ignore it the rest of the time unless you are desperate for magic resistance.

Breaking keys is a function of the ratio of your strength to agility. A character with 10 str and 10 agility will have the same problem as one with 30 str and 30 agility. If you want to break fewer keys become more agile relative to your strength.

Strength adds to bow damage.

I t doesn't cost any mana to use the charge spell. (If every spell printed the formula used to calculate its mana cost, that would be a good thing.)

Wearing scale armour is an effective way to reduce spell damage.

It is better to put points in the charge spell than in any particular offensive spell.  That way you get a super-charged fireball, and ice bolt, etc.

You can wield 2 weapons. Drag the second one to your shield slot.

-- Zebo's inventory changes if you "Save and quit" and then "contintue" with the same character, so if your looking to optimize your equipment this could be a way. Might be considered an exploit though...

-- If you already have acquired a target and a new enemy steps in front of you, you can double tap on it, to target this enemy instead. If you want to bash a door while you have a target acquired, you can drop something from your inventory and then pick it up again, to get rid of the targeting.

If you have a target and cannot get rid of it, save the game and restart. Targetting info is lost.

You can also switch targets by double tapping or tap and holding on another creature.

Resurrecting old thread, but I didn't see anyone else post about this.

I'm using the recommended 40 points starting End, which makes things easier in general.  I'm not planning on adding any more points into it.   However, when you get the bonus HP equal to half your End when you level, it doesn't calculate this when you get the "level up" crown, but when you're actually leveling up (putting points into stats, etc).

So (using my MUD experience), I have an extra set of gear with +End that I switch to when I level.  I'm at around +65 on this gear right now; an extra 32 hp per level isn't anything to sneeze at.

Huh, does it work? Is.it permanent? I was told by Codezonbie that it doesn't. if it does this changes quite a bit.

bah, you're right.  I tested it once early on (when I didn't have as much + end gear) and must've been seeing things.  I just tried it now and it doesn't stick.  So the +50% of end to hp must only be base end, not total end.

Sorry for getting hopes up :/
