It doesn't appear that you auto-heal. As sometimes you don't have heal potions, it may be useful to slowly regain health/mana as you play.

There will be a health regeneration ability that the player can select at level up to add natural health regeneration. There will also be mana regeneration too.

When I read auto heal, I was thinking more on the line with if you hit a given % of health you auto use a pot that in in the hotbar. Maybe with some smarts behind the routine. I.E. if a pot gives 15 health then it wont be used until the full pot can be exhausted.

just using your 4 slots to refill from your backpack works well in combat for me, more of a rpg feel to it, auto heal if outside of combat or not moving maybe, but please don't make it too easy, as balance is very good with beta right now, just hard enough to keep you going, but understand posts above as well, it's all about play style and choice in the end
