I have had reports that the graphics glitch on some Samsung i5800 and Samsung Intercept.  Has anyone with these devices encountered this.  If so, I could use a tester to help me fix whatever might be causing this.

It is a soft cap. Level xp requirement increases exponentially while xp rewards increase polynomially. I'll continuously increase xp bonus from higher level creatures in updates.

After seeing this post, I decided to give this a try myself.  I have a character, level 18, at the end of the game.  I restarted at dungeon level 1.  I love the challenge (beware the unstable gas clouds!.. or whatever they're called), but am I supposed to be leveling this slowly?  I just finished dungeon level 5 and I think I've seen my xp bar move a tiny bit since I restarted at dungeon level 1.  Like, maybe 1/30th of a character level or so.

Are the monsters level increased but just not their xp rewards?

It reduces the damage you would normally take by 50%. The calculation occurs right before you are damaged.

I try to keep it so old save games will continue to load. If you want, you can send the save game files to contact@deadlydungeons.com and I'll take a look at them. If I figure it out, I can send the files back to you that will work for the new version.

I played some ago, several months ago. Finished the game. Then while waiting for the expansion I created a new character to mess around. I noticed a while ago that when I looked to reload my old save it was not an option in the "characters" menu. Only the new guy was there. I downloaded the expansion, still could not find him. I deleted the new character just in case, but still no sign. All the save files are there, including player and global saves. Any way to access them? Maybe it is due to an update? I cannot remember what version I was playing originally, but I think it is fully up to date now (no more options to update on google play). Phone: Galaxy Ace. Android: 2.2.1

Well, your character isn't deleted. Only the level data for your current play through. Playing a new game will start you at the beginning, but the dungeon will be scaled to your current level. Monsters get new attacks and are much stronger.

Shield damage works exactly like weapon damage. Though, since shields do 0 damage, the character's strength is used to determine how much damage is done with a shield. There is also a small chance to stun.

I think the implantation of some sort of puzzle-games in order to open some locked doors or chests for instance would really reach the game to a an other level !!! Don't you think it would nice to have to came back to superior levels in order to solve an enigma, above all if there was some kind of repopulating system to keep the pressure?

I registered on this site just to post this, sadly.  :(

Have been playing DD for a few weeks, finally made it to around level 14 (the "god world" or whatever it was called), then while loading up my character I accidentally hit "new game" instead of "continue", and it started me all the way back at the beginning of the dungeon, with no way to go back to where I was!  Very disappointed by this, I would assume that hitting "new game" would give you the option to make a new character, and start a new game, and all that, instead of just whisking your character all the way back to the beginning.  You need a big red flag, or something, to caution the user against ever hitting this stupid button.  :(

If they start to overwhelm you, as long as you have multishot or some other type of damage that hits multiples, then kill them at the same time in a tile and clear a path. They will only split if there is no other creature in the tile they are in.

Thank you for the answer. I suspect the same, something about ICS and Asus not being able to handle correctly the exit. I will give a try about other games with high textures, etc.. but about the ADB program, is the first time i heard about it (im not into SDK). I will look for it and give it a try too. Thanks!

Hi, I'm currently fighting cancer cells in lvls 24 - 25 and I'm an archer build. The cancer cells are splitting faster than I can kill them. Does anyone have any advice as to what else could be done?

Here is a list of potions I have come up with for the next update:

1. bravery potion - physical stat buff

2. archmage potion - magic stat buff

3. invisibility - creatures ignore you

4. magic resistance - absorbs 50% of magic damage for a limited time

5. haste potion - doubles speed

6. stoneskin potion - absorbs 50% of physical damage for a limited time

7. detection potion - detects location of monsters and objects in level

8. cloudy potion - 1/8 of the time invulnerability, 3/8 small heal, 3/8 small damage, 1/8 poison that will drain all current life

9. cure disease - cures disease

10. cure poison - cures poison

I could do puzzle locks with gold chests. I think mass effect had a nice puzzle game for unlocking things. Perhaps I could do something similar, though, make it a bit more mechanical.
