postheadericon New Features coming to Deadly Dungeons

The Android RPG, Deadly Dungeons was released nearly a month ago, and the title has seen a great deal of success in the Android Marketplace and other Android markets.  Work has begun on a new expansion that is slated for release in July.  This expansion will feature a town that will be used as a central hub for quests and accessing other dungeons.  Also new to the release will be more varied environments including outdoor areas, flooded levels, and other worldly planes.

Enhancements to the current campaign will also be added monthly.  Planned features include journals and tomes that provide more backstory to the game, 3 different game modes, more enhancements to the main menus, changes to the loot system to be more gold-based, locked doors, traps, pick axes that can be used to dig through walls, and branches off of the main dungeon which feature quests and puzzles.

Focus has turned from bug fixing of the initial release to enhancements and expansions.  If anyone has any feature requests or ideas on how to improve the game, then feel free to discuss it in the forum or email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. postheadericon Deadly Dungeons Released

Deadly Dungeons has been released to the Android Marketplace!  I will also be adding the game to several other marketplaces and will also sell a version from this website.  I would like to thank everyone who tested Deadly Dungeons.  The game would not be as good as it is now without the feedback I received.

Development doesn't stop here though.  I plan to release updates that add more features and extends the gameplay through expansions.  If anyone would like to recommend a feature for Deadly Dungeons, then please feel free to post a feature request in the forum or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. postheadericon Final Beta

The final beta before release is getting closer.  This beta will be a release candidate and will have all of the features the first release of the game will have.  Email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to get into the testing.  Feedback for this Android RPG has been great so far.  I believe that at release, the game will run on nearly every Android device out there.  It will even run on many of the first Android devices released.

postheadericon Beta 0.8.2

Deadly Dungeons Beta 0.8.2 went well.  The beta was downloaded more than 200 times, and the game worked on nearly all Android devices tested on.  The only exception was some display issues on the Entourage Pocket Edge.

I've made a list of all of the issues and changes requested for 0.8.2.  I will be working to address these for the next release which will likely be sometime in February.  The final beta release will be a release candidate.  Once testing is completed with the final beta, and all issues are fixed, the game will be uploaded to the Android Marketplace.

Deadly Dungeons will have a paid full version.  The full version will have access to all updates and expansions that come in the future.  There will also be a lite version that will be released a bit later which will consist of the first campaign with saving and loading disabled.  The lite version will allow a person to try the game before they buy it.

I will also look into providing a pay-what-you-want download from the website itself.  Though, the number of downloads would likely be limited on this option.  This is mainly for those without access to the Android Marketplace, or for people who live in other regions.

Hopefully, this will provide people with enough options to be able to get the game on their device.  If you have any questions, comments, or would like to be involved in the final beta, just email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and let me know.  Everyone who has given feedback for 0.8.2 will automatically be on the next beta.

postheadericon Temple Level Play Through

I have recorded and posted a new video of me playing through a Temple level.  I was mainly testing the multi shot ability for bows, but the video also acts as a good demonstration of basic gameplay.  What is missing that I'm currently working on is some spell slots on either side of the screen.  There will be two on the left, and two on the right.  These spell slots will be used to drop spells and abilities into so they can be cast or activated.
